I explore the connections between economics, environmental sustainability, science and social impact — turning questions into research, projects and practical possibilities.
How can we understand real-world challenges — and make a meaningful difference?
That question connects my interests. My research looks at how local retailers respond to e-commerce and how policy addresses environmental costs. My sustainability projects explore water filtration in the East Kolkata Wetlands, urban heat, flood resilience and alternatives to conventional materials.
I also care about the human side of problem-solving: education, community volunteering, student leadership and social-impact research. Alongside this work, years of Odissi training and my yoga teaching qualification keep me connected to discipline, culture and wellbeing.
